It suddenly came to me (James Dean)

It suddenly came to me. I didn't have time to do anything. I became an icon. Poet's Note. James Dean is one of the first icons of popular culture.

I always loved him (Dolly Parton)

The sorrow of the land. For my sake. I loved America, and they loved me. I was the American dream in high heels. I was more than that. Not a stupid blonde. I was lucky and wanted to give back. What I loved most was my husband, I always loved him, and he loved me. I couldn't have asked for more. I'm with him now, forever. Dolly Parton was a singer, actress, and philanthropist.

I was everyone's baby (Jean Harlow)

I was everyone's baby, but when I died I didn't even have hair, the platinum blonde was gone. All those vampstories, I was so much more. I never had the man I loved by my side. Not even in the grave. My mother came with me there too. This was Hollywood. Nothing more. Poet's note. Jean Harlow was one of the biggest movie stars of the 30s.

Then just a dark night (River Phoenix)

I just wanted to play the guitar, but it was the last, dark night of my life on the Boulevard of Broken Hearts, when I wasn't even supposed to party. It was the night my innocence was gone, and when I didn't think my life would end, but they couldn't hold my heart anymore. Then just a dark night. Poet's Note. Actor River Phoenix died of an overdose at a nightclub on Sunset Boulevard.

So sad (Sharon Tate)

I prayed for my unborn son, that he would be spared. I offered myself as their prisoner, but they would not spare me, not me, not my son. Blood, blows and blood... They wrote in my blood... I had become a Hollywood star, but I was murdered, buried with my son in my arms. So sad. Poet's note. Actress Sharon Tate was murdered by the Manson clan in a mass murder. She was pregnant.

I was Scarlett (Vivien Leigh)

I was Scarlett. I was chosen from thousands and I wasn't even American. I was Scarlett in my life and in my death. If not Scarlett, then Blanche. All the roles took a lot from my soul, that's the role and fate of an actress. And you can't get everything back from your soul. A poet's note. Vivien Leigh is especially remembered for her role as Scarlett O'Hara.

I couldn't catch them (Robin Williams)

My world began to change into something that I no longer felt was my own. Life began to be a slow descent into darkness. I decided to end it while the joy was still somehow present, and I still felt the most important things. No. They weren't the comedian's tears but something else. I couldn't catch them. A poet's note. The actor Robin Williams committed suicide.

I became famous by hurting myself (Ryan Dunn)

I became famous by hurting myself. My last stunt was my last, and I didn't pull it off. And it wasn't shown on TV. The Porsche stunt was a drunken thing, which I could no longer forgive. The car, the guy, and I were left on that road. Life was fun while it lasted. I didn't think  I was going to die in a nursing home, but it can hurt in heaven too. Poet's Note. Ryan Dunn was a member of the Jackass group and died in a car accident.

Just call me crazy (Anne Heche)

I experienced hell in my life. Many times. The last time I burned alive in a car. I wanted to give my life to someone who needed it. I didn't need a life anymore, which was so hard for me. I wanted love. That's what I wanted. To be loved. To have my father and mother love me. That's why I wanted to be a star. I lost them all. Just call me crazy. I'm free now. Actress Anne Heche died after crashing her car into a house.

Hollywood kills nightingales

Hollywood kills nightingales and spits them out. That's what happened to me. Dreams didn't come true, tragedy was enough. One drunken night, I had enough  of your Hollywoodland, and I immortalized myself in history  by jumping off of you. I might have thought that I would be remembered for this. And so it was. I failed in life, but not at everything. And in a cruel irony, I would have gotten  the role of a woman committing suicide. I did it. Poet's note, Peg Entwistle committed suicide in 1932 by jumping off the iconic Hollywood sign.

It was the last time

It was supposed to be the last time. The last time I used. The last time I had to forget. The last time I had to be forgotten. It was the last time. So many times I had looked death eye to eye. Now it took me. Almost by accident. I knew it would, but I was almost surprised. I was Matthew Perry. I made others laugh, even as I cried.  Poets note. Everybody remembers Matthew from Friends.
